Oprah Winfrey Seeks Stories
The Oprah Winfrey Show is seeking stories about schizophrenia and disassociative disorders from consumers and family members. (Please note: they do not need any about depression or bipolar disorder which have been topics in recent episodes). If you have a definite diagnosis or are a spouse or other family member currently living with a person who has one, you may submit them through the show’s Web site. Only people willing to appear on television and talk publicly about their experiences should do so. NAMI is not directly involved in the show’s production and of course there is no guarantee that a story will be selected or otherwise used. There are separate on-line submission forms for consumers and family members.
