I think we’d all agree that one suicide is too many, but two within nine weeks is intolerable.  What are the Sheriff and County Commissioners  waiting for before they demand implementation of suicide prevention procedures  from the company managing their jail?  If the management company can not do this then they must be replaced by a new management team...

It is my habit to read the news paper every morning. Imagine my surprise when I saw that James Dobson and his ilk are calling for NBC affiliates not to carry a new sitcom called “The Book of Daniel”.  Now I admit that I’ve only seen promos for the show which has an Episcopalian priest talking with a robed Christ.  Dumbson…ooops I meant Dobson seems to think the Christ figure is tolerant of sin since the Priest has an addiction to painkillers, has a gay son, a daughter who deals marijuana and wife who drinks too much...
